Can this plugin actually take payment in the currencies?

Hi Support,

I purchased the multi currency plugin so we can take payments in 6 currencies. However after installing the plugin and going through the documentation is seems all this plugin does if a conversion in the basket for the user but payment is still taken in the default currency.

Currently the plugin is disabled and the site is not yet live. Is the fact the site is not live stopping this function?

Am I correct or have I missed a setting?
