Compatibility issue with cart panel

Hello,

I’m using a cart panel on the shop page with the cart information that moves into the screen when the user adds an item to cart: https://prnt.sc/10sfov4

The cart panel only shows up for simple products where there are no variations to choose from on the shop page.

For every product that has variations the cart panel seems deactivated. The product is added to cart but nothing visual happens to let the user know that the product was added to cart.
The cart panel just doesn’t show for those items that were chosen through the variation swatches on the shop page.

Is there a fix for this?
