I am using the ‘Currency by Payment’ option to force CAD currency when customers checkout in USD.
The reason we do this is because our payment processor only processes transactions in CAD. The feature is working perfectly on the payment gateway side, in that the customer is being charged the correct amount to their credit card.
The problem is that WooCommerce registers this as USD transaction.
So what happens is:
Product price at checkout $1.00 USD
Amount Charged to customer Card $1.35 CAD
Amount shown on invoice, checkout page and on the woo commerce order details: $1.35 USD
this obviously results in customer being confused about how much they were charged.
