Don’t update sale price

I have product sync enabled (for price and quantity). How do I specify, that it only updates the regular price and doesn’t change the sale price? In the options “product price” I have disabled the options for sale price (set to -1). The problem is that it deletes the sale price when updating the regular price (even when I set the sale price to be until a day in the future manually).
