email plugin update downloading

received a message from envato says an update of WooCommerce Email Template Customizer by villatheme is now available in your Downloads page. Do i really need to download it and install it again? I thought the update is processing automatically in wp dashboard? (i set the update automatically). Please advise. Thank you!
