Flag size and other customizations

Hi, I’m trying to reduce the size of the flags in the currency bar, and also get rid of the extra spacing that appears when I choose flags as the option. The gaps get bigger when I choose flags even though the height of the bars remain at 40px. I’d also like to reduce the width of the bars so that they are more related to the currency code: ie not such a big gap between the flag and the code and the code and the side of the browser window.

I have been attempting to achieve this with css, but it’s not going well!

I see that you can add an attribute size to the flags that are added from a shortcode, but I can’t see where I could add that to the standard currency bar.
