VALRSOULParticipantHello VillaTheme Support Team,
I am experiencing a currency compatibility issue between CURCY Premium and the free gift tier rules on my WooCommerce store.
Website: https://valrsoul.com/
Base currency: USD
CURCY Premium version: 2.4.2.1
Affected currencies: GBP, CAD, and other non-USD currenciesMy cumulative free gift tiers are configured in USD as follows:
* $89+: Free Mystery Ring
* $129+: Free Mystery Necklace
* $199+: Free Mystery BraceletEverything works correctly when the active currency is USD. However, after switching to another currency, the cart subtotal appears to be compared directly against the original USD threshold numbers without proper currency conversion.
For example:
Two Dragon Scale Armor Bracelets have a base-currency subtotal of $139.80. When the currency is switched to GBP, the converted cart subtotal is £104.85.
Because the original USD subtotal is $139.80, the customer should qualify for both:
* The $89 Mystery Ring
* The $129 Mystery NecklaceHowever, only the Mystery Ring is added to the cart.
It appears that the system is directly comparing the numerical GBP subtotal of 104.85 against the USD thresholds of 89 and 129. Therefore, it passes the 89 tier but incorrectly fails the 129 tier.
The expected behavior is that the gift eligibility should either:
1. Be calculated using the cart subtotal in the store’s base currency (USD); or
2. Convert each USD gift threshold into the currently selected currency before comparing the amounts.The attached screenshots show:
1. The GBP cart subtotal of £104.85 with only the Mystery Ring added
2. The cumulative reward tier structure
3. The $129 free Mystery Necklace rule settings
4. The installed CURCY Premium versionFor reference, your team previously fixed a similar CURCY compatibility issue involving WoodMart’s Frequently Bought Together feature in my earlier topic: “Critical Bug: Double conversion on WoodMart FBT cart” (post #260758).
This is a new issue affecting the free gift tier calculations. Could you please investigate it and provide a compatibility fix?
Thank you.
