GDPR checkbox is ON but not required

Hello,

As far as i know GDPR checkbox shouldn’t be required is up to the user either he wants to receive newsletters afterward or not.

The idea is maybe to make the checkbox not required also in the emails list we can see who checked the box to receive newsletters and who didn’t. Do you think it’s feasible in the future updates?
