How to get short code working right

My short code displays at a widget but seem to ignore both the filter=”off” (filters still show up for customers which we do not want) and the product_cat= I’ve tried both category ID and category slug, and so far, it’s just showing all reviews – not filtering on product category at all.

What am I missing? Where are the instructions with proper syntax examples? For example, is filter=”off” the correct syntax or should that be filter=”0″ or “disabled” or “hidden” or something else?

And do I have to resort to CSS to hide the actual filter buttons (With Images, Verified, and All Stars – I want these gone)
