Identity out of stock items but still display and allow add-to-cart

Hi,

I know I can hide out-of-stock product variations and also disable them.

However, I want to identify them but then allow the customer to add-to-cart.

Is there a way for the the tooltip label to change or some other way to identify that an item is out of stock (but still allow ordering)?
