Mutliple variations adding to cart

I would like to be able to quickly purchase different variations of the same product, but without reloading the page. Would it be possible to create (or make dedicate plugin) the ability to add multiple variants to the cart? E.g. selecting number of products of one variant, clicking to add to cart or to variant image and then selectin number of products of second variant and so on.
Similarly, is it possible to create such functionality on the product list page (also with selecting number of products).
