Not showing the correct image

When someone buys a variable product and the upsell pop up comes up, it doesnt show the correct product that was chosen. It just shows the picture of the first product.

So if lets say i have a red, white and blue product.

I pick the blue product and the popup shows me “you have bought this particular product” with an image. But it doesnt show me which product i chose. it just shows me the first image of the variable product, which in this case was red.

My customers got confused by that.
