On our site with the multi currency switcher the currency keeps bouncing back to USD

We adjust the currency to CAD here: https://socgoods.com/shop/ and have it also set to work at checkout. What we want is if a user adjusts the currency anywhere it sticks to that currency until adjusted again.

Also, on product pages the little currency flag on click shows in white not visible.

We also want the options for the user to edit the currency in cart or checkout on the items there and have it stick but seems to always bounce to USD here as well.
