pre order is registred as shipped status. how to change this?

Hi we have installed your plugin in our woocommerce store.

Yesterday we received a pre order which is exciting.
However, the customer paid through paypal and then although it got registred as a pre order, the status of the order was set to shipped.

Our Question: How do we change the automation that pre orders will no longer be marked as shipped? Our goal is that they are marked as being processed.
