Re import product with global attributes

I have made a product and categories import once.
But I forgot to select the “use global attributes” at that time.
So if I run the imported again with new setting, this time checking the “use global attributes” will it update the products attributes as well.

Or if I delete all the products and run the importer again will it solve the problem?
