Save button sends all settings to default

Hi!
I have the exact same problem as many other people. Whenever i press “save” all the settings go back to default.
I do not use any cache plugins, tried clearing cache in my browser, nothing changed.

WooCommerce/status — the value of “PHP max input vars: is 5000

I do get the “Your settings have been saved!” message on top when i press “Save”
