Shortcode is janky + Infinite loader needed

Two questions:

1. I note that the shortcode in the documentation is not the same as the plugin used in elementor. I am no longer using elementor, and so have to rely on the shortcode. The grid item background colour does not change to the default grey #f3f3f3. Is this usually set in the settings area or in the shortcode area? I have set it using the shortcode parameter for now, but leaves me wondering what is the purpose of the settings panels if it doesn’t always work? The grid color is not honored, the box shadow doesn’t work in the settings unless I specify it in the short code, etc.

2. Is there an option to, instead of pagination, use an infinite loader, with a button that says “Load more reviews”. Is this a feature request if it isn’t already there?
