Swatches doesnt work globally

Hello,

Based on my understanding of your tutorial, I should be able to globally set up “color swatches” as follows:

Global attribute / display type: color / swatches profile: color design
Then assign a code to each color

However, upon implementing this, I don’t see color swatches on my product pages. Instead, I see rounded buttons with the color names written on them. Additionally, despite attempting to globally set the display type of “size” to “button”, I encounter the same rounded button display as with colors (see attached image).

On the other hand, setting up swatches locally at the product level using custom attribute settings works. However, it’s not feasible or scalable to set colors individually for each product.

In summary, I think the global setting has a bug on my site and I would love some help.
