Updating product price when selecting a variation in the shop archive

hello,
is there a possibility to directly update the woocommerce product price from the archive element when choosing a variation?
for example i have product with variation S (price=59,90) and M (price=69,90).
so in the archive the price for P is shown as 59,90-69,90.
when i select M, the price should be updated to just 69,90. but the standard price field is hidden and in another position above the listed variations a new price field appears with 69,90.
is it possible to just overwrite the standard price field?
or if not, how can i reposition the newly appearing field?
