VAT, Converting Twice and Checkout Issue

    Hi,

I am having a few issues with setting up your currency converter to work with different VAT rates and with the checkout currency.

First issue – VAT/converting twice at cart level:

I want the currency converter to show the prices in Euros when language selected via Translate Press – this all works fine and shows the right price on the product page with a direct conversion.

When you get to the cart it should show the price with VAT included until a shipping location in Europe is selected and then it should change to 20% less (this works perfectly when all in GBP) but when itā€™s in Euros it seems to convert twice so the price is either with VAT converted twice (e.g. x 1.123 twice) or without twice – so it does remove the VAT when European address selected but itā€™s still showing the incorrect price (x2 converted).

    Second issue – checkout:

I then want the customer to pay in GBP so once they get onto the checkout page they pay in GBP – this is as requested by our client for accounting, and the Euro prices are to be for illustrative purposes only.

But when the checkout currency isnā€™t enabled it shows the European rate but with a Ā£ symbol in front of so completely wrong, it needs to go back to the GBP price as set at product level. At checkout level it does change to the price -VAT but again shows the euro amount with a Ā£ in front of. At the checkout level it doesnā€™t seem to double the conversion. I have tried playing around with settings, and if I enable checkout currency but set this to be just GBP if someone uses the translate it just results in a spinning wheel on the payment options and never loads them to complete transaction.

As this is completely not working as it should Iā€™ve pulled this off the live site and onto a development domain.

Could you look into this for us please?

    Thanks.
