Why can’t I select my variable product variation in the cart?

If I add the gift pack to an individual product, it lets me select the type of variation I want, but if I do it using rules, for example, a gift for orders over €50, the plugin automatically adds any variation to the cart without being able to select the one I want from the variable product.

I would need something like the one in the photo but in the cart.
